The ceremony of worshipping the gods is quite grand, and the altar is set up in the main hall under the heavenly god’s stove, usually with a long bench or a low bench with gold paper and then a high eight immortal table as the “top table”, with a table surround tied with auspicious patterns in front of the table and another “bottom table” behind it.
